Updating Two-factor Authentication

About Two-Factor Authentication
Enabling Two-Factor Authentication requires you enter a code that we send you to login or make any changes to your domains. This is a second level of security to protect you incase your account were to ever become compromised.

Enabling Two-Factor Authentication

  1. Login to your Sav account.
  2. Navigate to the My Account page.
  3. Select Verification Method type, either SMS or Email, under the Two-Factor Authentication section.
  4. If you have selected SMS, add your phone number or if you have selected Email, the email address  used is the email address you used to login to your Sav Account .
  5. Click the Setup button.
  6. With either method, verify the code by either entering the code sent to your cell phone or email account in the popup window. 
  7. Click the Verify Code button.
  8. If you have entered the code correctly, you will see that the Two-Factor Authentication is currently enabled. 

Disabling Two-Factor Authentication

  1. Login to your Sav account.
  2. Navigate to the My Account page.
  3. Select the Deactivate or Update Method link under the Two-Factor Authentication (Recommended) section.
Disabling Two-Factor Authentication makes your account less secure and is not recommended.

Updating Two-Factor Authentication

  1. Login to your Sav account.
  2. Navigate to the My Account page.
  3. Select the Deactivate or Update Method link under the Two-Factor Authentication (Recommended) section.
  4. Follow steps to enable above.
