About Two-Factor Authentication
Enabling Two-Factor Authentication requires you enter a code that we send you to login or make any changes to your domains. This is a second level of security to protect you incase your account were to ever become compromised.
Enabling Two-Factor Authentication
- Login to your Sav account.
- Navigate to the My Account page.
- Select Verification Method type, either SMS or Email, under the Two-Factor Authentication section.
- If you have selected SMS, add your phone number or if you have selected Email, the email address used is the email address you used to login to your Sav Account .
- Click the Setup button.
- With either method, verify the code by either entering the code sent to your cell phone or email account in the popup window.
- Click the Verify Code button.
- If you have entered the code correctly, you will see that the Two-Factor Authentication is currently enabled.
Disabling Two-Factor Authentication
- Login to your Sav account.
- Navigate to the My Account page.
- Select the Deactivate or Update Method link under the Two-Factor Authentication (Recommended) section.
Disabling Two-Factor Authentication makes your account less secure and is not recommended.
Updating Two-Factor Authentication
- Login to your Sav account.
- Navigate to the My Account page.
- Select the Deactivate or Update Method link under the Two-Factor Authentication (Recommended) section.
- Follow steps to enable above.
