Check Your Domain's DNS

You can check any of your domain's DNS using what is called a WHOIS query. Sav has the following WHOIS query resource that you can use from any web browser.




How to tell which nameservers are set on your domain
The WHOIS query will return information from the Registrar.

To find your nameservers look for the following lines in the WHOIS query response.
  • Name Server:
  • Name Server 1-4:

Here's an example that shows that my domain currently has two nameservers assigned to it.
bob.ns.cloudflare.com and kim.ns.cloudflare.com

Nameservers typically take about 90 seconds to become set, and shortly after that WHOIS queries will begin to show the most up to date information available from Sav.
